3rd car scout - Just wrapped up a new XtremeX reel 👀 We’ve been down in Christchurch checking out what could potentially become car #3 for XtremeX, and caught up with Paul and Nikki at Christchurch European. I was secretly hoping to have a look at the Gallardo they had there 😅… but instead we ended up checking out a very nice Aston Martin Vanquish. And it got me thinking… What should car #3 actually be? For us, it can’t just be about buying another cool or expensive car. There are plenty of amazing cars out there, but not all cars are built the same — and not every supercar makes a great experience. We need to consider the sound, theatre, acceleration, passenger experience, reliability, running costs, how different it feels from the two McLarens we already have, and most importantly… Would somebody get out of it thinking: THAT was awesome? Because that’s ultimately the goal. It has to be about the experience. Car #3 needs to add something genuinely different to XtremeX rather than simply adding another car to the fleet. So… what would you put beside the 12C and 570S? 👀 Lamborghini? Ferrari? Aston Martin?
