Settle in for one of our longest and most complete McLaren passenger experiences. The Remutaka Lookout ride covers approximately 100km of real Wellington roads, giving you far more time to enjoy the sound, acceleration, character and theatre of the McLaren MP4-12C from the passenger seat.

What Does The Experience Include?
The Remutaka Lookout ride is an approximately 90-minute, 100km McLaren MP4-12C passenger experience on real Wellington roads. This longer route gives you time to properly settle into the car, enjoy the soundtrack, experience the performance and take in a much broader range of roads and scenery than our shorter experiences.
🚀 Feel The Acceleration
With much more road time, this route gives us several suitable opportunities to experience the 12C's acceleration, including acceleration up towards 100 km/h where conditions and road rules allow.
🔊 Hear The V8
The longer route gives you more opportunities to hear the 12C's twin-turbo V8 come alive across changing road sections, with a broader mix of sounds, scenery and driving environments.
🏁 Passenger Experience
You ride in the passenger seat while one of our experienced XtremeX drivers takes care of the driving, so you can simply enjoy the car.
📸 Time For Photos
We allow a few extra minutes around your experience so you can get photos with the McLaren, including time around your stop at or near the lookout where practical on the day.
