What Does The Experience Include?
The Gauntlet is a 20-minute, approximately 24km McLaren MP4-12C passenger experience on real Wellington roads. It gives you more time than the Sprint to settle into the car and enjoy the acceleration, sound and character of the 12C across a broader mix of roads.
🚀 Feel The Acceleration
The 20-minute route gives us several suitable opportunities to experience the 12C's acceleration, including acceleration up towards 100 km/h where conditions and road rules allow.
🔊 Hear The V8
With more time in the car than the Sprint, you'll get more opportunity to hear the 12C's twin-turbo V8 under load and enjoy the soundtrack across changing road sections.
🏁 Passenger Experience
You ride in the passenger seat while one of our experienced XtremeX drivers takes care of the driving, so you can simply enjoy the car.
📸 Time For Photos
We allow a few extra minutes around your experience so you can get photos with the McLaren before or after your ride.
